Last week, ELGIP held its Annual Assembly in Stockholm, marked by productive discussions and key developments.
The assembly featured important working group sessions on Energy Geostructures (led by Marco Barla) and Climate Change Adaptation (led by Alessandra Insana), ELGIP’s commitment to addressing critical challenges.
A key event was the Nature-Based Solutions workshop, led by Tone Ratcliffe Smaavik where interesting ideas were shared and debated.
During the Board Meeting, President Iulia-Consuela Prodan officially passed the leadership to Hauke Zachert who will now lead ELGIP for the next two years. Hauke will be supported by Vice President Grzegorz Ryżyński and General Secretary @Peter van den Berg forming a dynamic team to continue advancing the ELGIP agenda.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Statens geotekniska institut, SGI – Swedish Geotechnical Institute for their warm hospitality and outstanding organization of this event and especially to Yvonne Rogbeck all her dedication to ELGIP and also for the organization of the 2025 of ELGIP General Assembly.
